I used quest markers and everything is up to scale (save for the little stretch that the nimbus sea has horizontally

well, the show marker for Sameria does show when you’re in the Bronze sea
the quest marker was for the entrance to the Sun Palace, I never got the chance to complete it bc I kept on crashing
that marker doesnt actually show the correct position where it would be in the nimbus sea
where is port mistral?
yeah because the quest trigger isnt at sameria, but rather east of FOM
