Just had a really funny situation with someone trying to hunt me for my 150k bounty

I’m very very bad at PVP, and my current file is not really a good place to be practicing, so I tend to avoid it if possible, ESPECIALLY when my opponent is the one trying to start the fight (since that usually means theyre confident enough in their skills at the game)

So, Im bounty hunting NPCs at Harvest Island, when I hear my ship getting attacked. As expected, someone with a high bounty is trying to take me out, and, being the coward that I am, I do not approach my boat. Instead, I put down the sails, letting my boat go off on its own, and run around the back of the island

The hunter sinks my boat around halfway to the Stepstones and heads back to Harvest, but by the time they get back I’m already long gone, literally swimming all the way to the Stepstones (and using my sunken boat as a platform to regain stamina just in case)

That was funny enough on its own, but on top of that, I saw a message saying someone was about to get executed, so I swam over to Palo Town as well. I wanted to get some repairs done on my ship, so I respawned it there, and started stealing cargo to repair it with

Unfortunately, the same hunter was still after me, and they actually caught the real me this time. Jokes on them though, I managed to squish myself into a little crevasse under the water in the area, drank a waterbreathing potion, and bam, now they have no idea where I am. I sit there for a couple of minutes, then resurface, and pretty much just leave. The hunter is none the wiser

The entire time I was laughing to myself like bro give up you do not know what I am capable of, if you catch me again I’ll just throw an insanity potion at you idc

I wish I coulda stopped that execution but ah well, my bounty is more important than that generic NPC’s head anyway

Mind you this is also completely in-character for the character I’m playing as, she only accepts fights she either knows she can win, or has no way out of, and always has some kinda plan to either win or gtfo

Hi fellow coward here.
So one time when i joined a server i was immediatelly hunted, the moment i saw my caracter some dudé came outta nowhere and anahialated me. I couldn’t do anything i was still loading. He then proceeded to sinking my ship.
When i respawned i ran away and found a convenient diving spot where i hid.
He was still on me but he was a fire mage and couldn’t shit to me underwater, so he talked shit to me about me being a coward and stuff and tried to use guns, but he’s ass.
He was sooo mad he called his friend a warlord but he was also stupid. I then drank a water breathing potion and ate invigorating food and swam to the nearest shore without them noticing.
Shortly after they quit.
I hate spawn campers.

Oh I’ve done a similar thing where I sent my ship away as a distraction while I swam away into the dark sea.

As a fellow coward and pvp hater (I suck ass), I absolutely hate bounty hunters and grand navy members, just leave me tf alone :sob: I’m glad theres gonna be a pvp toggle, but since I’m part of a clan, I might have to leave which I don’t wanna do, but I’ll do anything to get away from bounty hunters. Like I can’t even play in the Nimbus Sea without getting jumped as soon as I load in by some grand navy player…

Anyways this one time I was in sameria when I got attacked
I ran into the buildings and hid between the wall and the houses
There is like enough distance there to barely squeeze in
I managed to get away
Looking back at the hunter, bro was still attacking that one place I was 2 minutes ago

Hey! Fellow coward here. I have less bounty, so I’m not a very interesting target, but what I have is patience. I just hide!!! Glad to know I’m not alone in this :handshake:
