Three Gods Theory (Prometheus, Hades, and Poseidon)

This is a small theory of mine but I think I’ve hit the dot on what the gods and what they did so far. Most of this has been confirmed except Hades.

Prometheus - Creator of all Magic (Base Magic) [CONFIRMED]

If you played Arcane Adventures or Arcane Reborn you would know that Prometheus instead of granting fire to humans, he had granted humans the ability to use magic. Vetex had confirmed this with the lore and Prometheus won’t probably show up again because he was a raid boss (I think) in late game of AA or AR.

Poseidon - Creator of Awakenings (Mage, Conjurer, Berserker, ETC) [CONFIRMED]

Once again if you played through the story you would know that at the very end Poseidon gives you the power to awaken and in my mind the reasoning of him doing this is to try to even the playing field against the sea curses. He said that he was proud and he was probably watching, so who says he didn’t watch the protagonist get practically demolished by General Julian. Also the reasoning could’ve been also been to try to tip the scales against his brother Hades.

Hades - Creator of Sea Curses (All Sea Curses) [THEORY]

Sea Curses grant two abilities that are quite obvious of a gods doing, immortality and the immense strength of the curse. It was said that Hades had been intrigued into Prometheus’s creation of magic and wanted to test the limits of it. When the bandits had attacked Durza’s village after he had gotten the absorption curse, Hades had used his godly powers to compel Durza’s right arm to use the absorption curse for the first time to take the bandit’s magic away.

CONCLUSION

This is just a fanboy theory that’ll probably get overlooked like just of many others, but it was just to get it out of my mind. In my head knowing the way Hade’s was molded as a character he would definitely make the curses just out of spite. Literally it has the two things that connects to his brothers (Sea) - Poseidon & (Curse) - Prometheus. The curse part is obviously a reach, but its the opposite of what Prometheus gave and that was a gift. You might ask how having a great power like the ability of death or becoming glass itself is a curse, but it depends on the user. The curse of it all could just be the chaos it represents to the world. It’s said in the story that sea curses are practically engines to kingdoms. At the end of the day it’s just a theory and I’m happy to take inputs on it, since a whole communities worth of minds is better than one.

I also feel like the Death Curse specifically ties with Hades as well. (Him being the god of death and all.). Also the sea curses could maybe represent the powers of the gods.

he is the god of the dead not death itself

Nah, he just gave it to humans

Nah he isn’t

It literally says Prometheus created them

Also some were created before Prometheus made them like Lazarus

Well I guess that shits all over my theory. Thanks for confirming it all.

also isn’t Poseidon a member of the One Shot Pirates?

Actually wait I checked, Prometheus only created four for Arthur.

Prometheus created all of them, cursebeard obtained 4 for himself.

i think arthur also made him create all the other ones just because and only wanted those four

Isn’t that webtoons only???

Thanatos is the god of death, in fact, he is the personification of it

@ThatOneGuy

no, posiedon mentions being at the side of the strongest human, who is arthur

How did he die then in AO timeline

As far as I know, Chaos made them.

He fell down some stairs.
No but in actuality I think he might’ve died in the 7th sea in the fight against Durza.
(Before posting this I checked and found this)

After defeating Durza, the player sailed far south to the uncharted seas and eventually found Hades, the last remaining god besides Poseidon, who had also been killed in the war.
