I consider Savant to be S-tier because, no matter what Stat Spread you go with, you will have a few ranged options, which is what PvE generally boils down to with high-leveled NPCs. Sure, your Fighting Style(s) are practically useless, since getting close to NPCs above Level 180-ish is asking for death, but you still have Magic and Weapons, which come with a bunch of ranged abilities.
It’s similar to why I have Warlord and Juggernaut at B; yeah, Warlord does get Weapon Skills to carry itself, but it doesn’t get anything beyond that, and as I said, getting close to an enemy almost instantly sends you to the weird black screen with red text on it. Warlord also has to keep its right hand at all costs, because if a player loses that hand, they’re ultra-screwed unless they have a Tier III+ Healing Potion on hand. Juggernaut is basically that, but cranked up to -11, since its only good ranged ability is Spirit Blast.

yeah but it also has really big attacks that do big damage
so one can just spam cj, shot, sparrow, pgale, cj and kill basically kill an npc with little to no punishment besides you get bow and guns with an imbue

This list is easy:
everything that at least uses Magic or Weapons goes in S tier.
Mage has enough projectiles to not worry about NPC’s
Weapons has Guns/Bows. NPC’s stand still for almost everything, and then die to 500 Bullet dmg.
Berserker sucks F tier.
vitality has 1 blast. but it almost always hits somehow, and the bonus HP can let you survivve something you shouldn’t have (drawback ain’t too bad) so it brings you to C tier.
Warrior needs to be moved up to mage
Well if u want ranged attacks then why not go for mage at this point? Mage has javelin, pulsar, cannon, and it was literally made to zone out of enemy’s range, whereas other hybrids like conjurer and warlock sacrifice long-range reliability for close-range. Besides, savant only really has blast, beam, guns to its name.

Size berserker’s always been good for pve for me!! Don’t know why its so low. If you’re using like the faster styles then that makes sense
