How can I fight on islands more effectively when theres hazards to consider like water and uneven terrain? for situations such as recreational battles with friends or ganks/bounty hunts against enemies.
Memorise the whole map
Go to bronze sea.
Man yourself a sky ship.
Hunt people down from above as you track them down.
Peak world pvp.
just know ur surroundings
for example, try not to fall into water since u can’t dash or t jump while swimming
use terrain like walls and hills to ur advantage (like taking cover or using an aoe ability if u know they’re behind a wall and can’t easily punish you)
breaking line of sight is also pretty useful if ur opponent is unga bunga and doesn’t use revealing pots
one thing i like to do when i’m retreating is to jump behind a corner out of sight and charge a flash strike when they try to chase
uhhhh last but not least know how to wall jump lol
but yeah just know ur surroundings basically
when there’s chaos around you, you need to find the calm in you
also use the terrain to your advantage, if it’s a larger island like sameria or ravenna move the battle to the terrain you know best
Not really a tip but it’s pretty funny when you bait someone near a barrel and blow them to heaven. Also bait high level NPC to attack your enemies (I baited like 2 people one time into getting bodied by that one Calvus attack). Also use potions to gain every edge you need. Also team and run.
Basically become Arcane Odyssey Joseph Joestar and apply dirty tricks along with any technical skill you might have.
Remember that outside of organized 1v1’s there are no rules in world PvP. If you see anyone complain then tell them skill issue and laugh as you take their renown from them.
