I can’t kill him as he keeps on flying away so im unable to hit him with my strength, please give me some tips, he’s so annoying to fight that ive spent 2 hours on him.
After 2 hours of trying there probably isn’t anything that you don’t know already. It may feel cheap but i recommend just getting someone to help you

since you haven’t gone through awakening yet, create a blast spell and use it as your main damage output (don’t worry about it not dealing damage as putting points into magic stat doesn’t increase magic damage, it only unlocks new spells, levelling up is what increases damage)

well if you want to solo it, I suggest you get the best fighting style (that to my knowledge is inferno fist.) and do what I said before, level up and farm boss drops, until you feel as if you are ready, plus aim for an awakening, that will give you another fighting style.
Your build determines your stats too, not just level. How you allocate those stats exactly doesn’t matter, as long as you’re the same build. A Warlock with 100 Magic and 150 Strength will deal the same damage with magic and fighting styles as a Warlock with 125 Magic and 125 Strength, for example. If magic isn’t a part of your build, it will deal way less damage. So no, Blasts are not the right way to go here.
I just soloed Calvus as a Warlock using only my imbued fighting style (Thermo + Light) and it is hard. I have 1777 HP and even then he got me below 200 a few times, I had to tryhard to beat him. Don’t take too many unnecessary risks unless you have very high health, use Resistance Focus whenever you can, mainly use Shot and Axe-Slash (I can’t use the latter but you should be able to. If you don’t have the scroll I highly recommend farming or one) since those give you the safest range. Sometimes if it’s safe enough, use Crash and then immediately Smash right after, it’s the best you can do to shred his HP. I usually do that combo while he charges his big blast (the large ball that he starts condensing in 2nd phase) and then block immediately after since by the time the combo is finished he’ll be about to fire it. Learn his patterns and parry as much as possible.
use cannon fist, it has best range.
though its moreso for the rich kids since it uses up all your cannonballs.
power effects the damage and the speed is nearly hitscan.
