Cursebeard as far as I know, died from being bested by Durza’s undead army including Poseidon, if he indeed was stronger than Prime Durza, that army would’ve been GONE, WIPED, REDUCED TO ATOMS.
Cursebeard was jumped by thousands of undead soldiers, fought and killed Undead Poseidon (after he had died in the battle), and then was finally killed by Undead Zeus himself. That’s 2 entire Gods.
I don’t know if the man who bested Prometheus himself and turned into the only Super Curse User in the world, is weaker than the weirdo who blew himself up twice.
“young durza“ was durza in his prime, he was at his strongest with the most magics and curses he ever had up to when he did the fracture. Durza in the 7th sea is weaker than he was back then, and should be below theos
Peacekeeper is not stronger than prime theos, and wont be for a while. Cursebeard should be at the top below creation and chaos, although whether hes stronger than hades is kinda unknown
either way, wotan stops at prime theos but its close
with wotan being made out of wood, I think he’d have a much harder time against heat based magic/curse users
he would probably be able to defeat up until rupin pretty easily (rupin isn’t actually that strong nor all that creative with his curse)
Old theos, depending on how he plays, could be a bit of an issue (theos could just fly around, stay out of wotan’s range and regen most damage taken, and he uses a heat based magic of course) but ultimately wotan should be able to beat him
young durza from when he caused the fracture might be a pretty major issue, if wotan doesn’t figure out that he can drain his energy. ultimately the fight will probably end in a draw (maybe after causing the fracture 2, or both just not having the energy to continue)
prime theos solos (heat based magic, amazing zoning potential, high damage, healing)
IMO Wotan basically no/low diffs everybody up to old Theos, but afterwards this is how I personally see things going (not including Freedrock/the Kingslayer since idk where they place in current Arcane lore):
Old Theos/AA Acheron/7th sea PK/Hades → Wotan wins 7/10 times (mostly mid diff for Wotan)
Prime Theos/pre-Fracture Acheron/post-Hades & Absorption PK → Wotan wins 6/10 times (mostly high diff for Wotan)
AA Arthur (& WoM PK just for funsies) → Wotan wins 3-4/10 times (extreme diff for Wotan)
Creation/Chaos → Wotan wins LITERALLY NEVER EVER/10 times
I like to think that all of these characters above (besides Chaos/Creation) are in a similar tier of power and are still relative to each other, so even if Wotan is more powerful than prime Theos/Silas/the PK/Durza, it doesn’t mean he’ll low diff them and/or always beat them (and vice versa for Arthur and Wotan). That’s why I like doing this winning X/10 times, maybe some factor will change the course of one of the fights and lets the weaker fighter “win,” like Acheron psychologically breaking Arthur or causing the Fracture to not be killed by Theos (a common theme with Acheron…)
wasn’t there a vetex statement / ss along the lines of curses not really having any clash rates or something similar, like he stated that wotan could just make fire-resistant wood and that’d solve the advantage issue
