this is half troll, a language called runic thavorc. translate it to see what this actually is (its about the language itself)

Ah yes, I agree.

Hello, World!

turns out this is anglo-saxon thovorc…
meaning that the translator wont do perfectly
title: I think that the runic thavorc language should be allowed in the forums

Even with manual translation with character-by-character work, it doesn’t result in that but in “allow the runic thavorc language as an allowed language of the forums”.

Also, the topic's header translates to

“I think this because it is similar to the ancient language that is used in lore, for which I think we should make this language the one used in the game for that”

btw i used to paste and translate with not the rune translator website, so uh
runes properly: ᚫᛚᛚᚪᚹ᛫ᚦᛖ᛫ᚱᚢᚾᛁᚳ᛫ᚠᚢᚦᚪᚱᚳ᛫ᛚᚫᛝᚢᚫᚷᛖ᛫ᚫᛋ᛫ᚫᚾ᛫ᚫᛚᛚᚪᚹᛖᛞ᛫ᛚᚫᛝᚢᚫᚷᛖ᛫ᛟᚠ᛫ᚦᛖ᛫ᚠᚪᚱᚢᛗᛋ, but this makes it de accurate to what it said

ᚠᚢᚦᚩᚱᚳ for more accurate than the rune translator webiste

ᚠᚢᚦᚩᚱᚳ funniest link feature (it automatically translates the text side of itself)

Since it translates to “Allow the runic futorc language as an allowed language of the forums”, I’m guessing that you’re probably using a different alphabet than mine (which you are probably not making use of as you’ve mentioned machine translators) since “futorc” should be “futhark”.

it has only 1 “c” or “q” or “k” sound, and its the one used mainly in “c”

the website calls it futhark… its actually futhorc

put futhorc futhark into the thing and see its identical

So it’s as I thought, I was seeing a bunch of non-futhark runes in there but wasn’t sure.

also, anglo-saxon futhorc

Is it weird that I could read this? I memorized runes back in 6th grade and apparently I still remember most of it

i read it out loud and now a draugr is clawing it’s way out of my backyard garden :cold_sweat:

Not really, especially when considering that it’s based off of the latin alphabet which we use a modified version of in modern day. It should actually be quite easy to recall.

i don’t think so, i still remember wingdings from 6th grade
