I don’t see a reason for horses, no islands will be as big as the current WOM map otherwise it just presents the same issues that the current game has

Its sad to see some of these features go but i guess its for the best, we should remember the past, enjoy the present, and look forward to the future!
Just hope we can keep the flight spell, was really looking forward to that one,surely you can just very heavily nerf it or something
I hope that islands will vary greatly in size. An example is my map which you can find if you dig in my activity tab.

We’re kinda hoping for big almost continent sized islands, as well as smaller islands. I really hope a lot of effort is put into making islands realistic in terms of size, geographic positions, and terrain, so as to make it look cool. A common trope I see is islands revolving around something, that is, this island is volcanic, this island is desert, the island next to it is jungle. I don’t really like this, I think that islands should be positioned to maximize geographic sense. This also enables positioning of different civilizations, similar ones living in similar areas.
I agree but no sharks they are a war flashback of a great magnitude for me of AA.
Is there even a new concept to the new map of sorts? that’s the biggest question that’s lingering in my mind right now!! And Mobile Compatibility?! God Damn this game is going to the next level!!
I’m hyped for the update, but worried about the outcome, will people abandon it just like AA? How will vetex’s mental health be? A consistent update every 2 weeks is kinda overkill unless he has some assistant programmers or something, but I really respect your hard work and ethic. These are one of the reasons you’re people’s last hope for well-made games on roblox.
Hate to break it to ya but Vetex already stated before that it would be very unlikely for him to switch to something like Steam where he would have to learn how to code in a completely new language, have to get used to a new engine (unreal, unity, or another engine) and learn how to use it properly, and much more. Although Roblox can be bad in many aspects, it is easier to work with for him and it gets plenty of new players easily.

I feel like the NPC changes is good for competitive grind gameplay, however, it would greatly kill the living and breathing aspect of WoM, a game can have good gameplay but the world also should be interactive, the NPCs being static reminds me of Skyrim children. Lots of the massive open-world games use interactive NPCs that can be killed to introduce a more moral, and living feel to the game plus a consequence, I feel that NPCs like shop keeps could be killed but increase the punishment with the magic council, or add in killability maybe once people can join the government.

I think keeping flight spells should help, if the islands are going to be larger. It’ll help travel over land quickly and all. But shouldn’t be enough to traverse the oceans as well as a boat/ship.

Probably should give lots of crowns or maybe give the boss weapons for new storyline or cool, rare items etc.
Dunno how AA’s storyline works. But if it works a bit like GTA V where you complete the story and are free to do whatever you want that’s probably cool. Hopefully it retains the new open world thing.

Essentially culture weapons but everyone can use 'em. Pretty cool, maybe each has special abilities that are valuable in their own way which maybe entices players to travel and explore.
No offense but I personally don’t approve of this. It’d get rid of the open world interactive aspect of the game. Obviously shopkeepers probably shouldn’t be able to be killed. In order to solve the sleeping patterns thing, you’d have the ability to wake them up when clicking on them.
I understand, hopefully we can compromise a bit of RNG with Certainty
cool idea, have different enemies spawn in certain places but with different behaviours. If preset locations means like they spawn in a single place and the spot doesn’t change, it’d ruin the open world thing…it could spawn in a medium sized area where you’re guaranteed to find an NPC. Or just keep it single-minded for better grinding.
This is gonna be pretty cool. It’d also boost the events that you’re doing. Like special Halloween quests with orange question marks.
