dude do you seriously enjoy

almost crashing when the silent tower breaks,

having to walk 2 kilometers just to kill 1 dude in 3 seconds then make your way back,

annoying ass storyline requiring you to get another 20 levels or something just so you are able to talk to a guy to progress

annoying ass lag spikes happening out of nowhere,

the client fucking itself because it’s not made to withstand games with as many parts and mechanics as wom

will there be things such as weapon fighting styles? Will we be able to create custom abilities for each style?

Honestly, I think this is a great update!
Except for one thing
The location and lore changes.

I personally loved WoM for the huge amount of lore behind, espiecally all the cultures.
Of course I think cultures need to be removed, it kind of seems stupid how it’s randomized on what items you will be able to buy.
The lore however, taking place on the other side of the planet, kind of makes me sad. It means we won’t see characters like Trigno, averill, Arsen and others again.

Another thing is islands. One thing I HATED about AA was about how small every island was. Please, make the islands that have all the juicy content on them be huge and not tiny. please.

It will be a very different feel, I guess it means that all the people in the seven seas will now die, along with the curses. It kind of makes me feel having it be a sequel to AA seem kind of pointless.
(My suggestion is to change the lore from its original state, to a new type where A good majority of people from AA began migrated to the War seas instead of Magius.)
But, overall, this update seems like it will be a very nice change.

im honestly incredibly sad that most non-stationary npcs are being removed, in my opinion thats what made the game incredible. i really feel like we need moving npcs

He messed up badly so i kinda doubt that it will be better. I also just hope that WoM’s art style will stay the same or even more “cartoony” so it wont feel like AA again. AA was a nostalgic masterpiece minus lack of scripting knowledge or Roblox Studio’s developing limit.

You just had to buy a gun and start having fun to beat the boss. But I agree the bosses were pretty difficult and it was odd trying to fight them.

Sounds like it will give me some Big nostalgia from when i used to play AA all day long, looking forward to it. :smile:

I’ll be honest, I don’t really like the idea of the revamp being based around islands just like AA was. I’m sure we can all agree that WoM has its flaws, but I like it because it has a much different feel than AA did. It’s more immersive, and I like having a continent-style map.

I understand that having NPCs walk around contributed to some of the game’s issues, but it also added soul to the game. The difference between WoM’s NPCs and AA’s NPCs is like night and day; WoM’s NPCs just make the game feel so much more alive.

While I do like the idea of boats and ocean travel in concept, I distinctly remember not liking ocean encounters in AA. Getting attacked by sharks was infinitely more annoying than getting attacked by bandits in WoM. At least the random hostile NPCs in WoM are reasonably easy to deal with, and you have a lot of freedom in where you engage them. Open ocean is very difficult to maneuver in, and any magic types that don’t work in water (fire, plasma, lava, etc), will be at an extreme disadvantage when dealing with sharks and other hostile ocean creatures.

Overall, I’m not sure how I feel about this change. Yes, it will fix many issues with the current game. Yes, it will probably appeal to people that enjoyed AA and want more of it. But in converting WoM to AO, I think the game will lose a lot of the things that make it so charming to me as it is.
