Bruh idc about that what about my boi flaunt man

God,this make me think how vetex is determined to put arcane adventures sequel on front page, this is great

yea but they’d still be like almost free dodge cards, literally just spin in a circle and you’ll dodge anything projectile based

this is why Arcane Odyssey is going to be a GRANDER, BETTER version of AA

rip cthulhu, let’s get Godzilla-

I suspect a lot of island travelling since the word odyssey means “a long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience.”

Huh, vetex said cthulu is either still in the seven seas some how or dead

Ikr bruh all we wants is magic flaunting. I want to be able to fill cups with swampy water.

dude my guy Vetex is literally filled to the brim with determination. Nothing is gonna stop him from bringing this goal out and he’s probably not gonna stray from the main plan.

most likely he might listen to the community for ideas that don’t completely destroy his plans and future things for the game. But since we don’t know ANYTHING about the revamp…

I’m not saying the game isn’t flawed, it definitely is, it’s just that we are basically redoing AA at this moment in time with this revamp. WoM had a fresh feeling to it and felt like an aftermath of AA. The only thing I TRULY agree on is the story, it really is awful. I also feel like WoM doesn’t exactly need to be an AA sequel or anything of the sorts, if anything it works better as its own standalone game. Also as I mentioned a lot of people liked the idea of land transportation, flight and cultures. Again I’m not saying my opinions are right but after discussing this out with multiple people we all agreed on the fact that this will simply become a “new gen AA” instead of having a fresh and new feeling.

wanna make smokescreen with explosion

What a true AA experience.

How wasn’t the “war seas” affected by Durza in general and the earthquake and all that

o yea vetex is ma boi flaunt coming in TGR?

also what about hover spells?

Overall, this seems like a tough but necessary choice for the future of the game, as the NPC and map problems would have gotten too out of hand in the future. Switching to islands and having preset quests/NPCS definitely fixes the walking simulator part. Quests and their objectives would naturally fall close together, which means more time would be spent on doing stuff like fighting. The only danger would be in making the islands too spread apart, as that would just switch to the problem from walking simulator to boating simulator.

Speaking of boating simulator, I personally thought that boats were very clunky in AA, and never really enjoyed using them. I would definitely prefer less development focus on them, as I can’t really imagine a way to make boating “fun” without a pretty astronomical amount of time spent on the mechanics for them.

Also, I can’t help but dislike the storyline focus changes. I think having the story center around players becoming some sort of end-game hypergod is boring and trite. I would much rather have an optional or no main storyline. I think having multiple long side-quest chains, where the player learns about/becomes more immersed into the world is better (For example, something like the college of winterhold questline in Skyrim, except without the whole becoming the archmage part).

Despite my discontent, though, I think the vast majority of these changes are VERY healthy to the long term future of the game, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

YES!

for now…we’re gonna have to wait

we don’t know how it’s gonna turn out…

Why don’t just make them spawn randomly as non lore bosses?

honestly maybe he should build it the way GTA V built their storyline…but

maybe he’ll do something better
