value wise but i usually estimate what people would take, not what is worth value wise
thats hard to give an estimation on though since the overpay will be decided by both parties negotiating, up to the seller really and if the buyer is willing to pay that much
i never said value corresponds to getting a trade
just saying that your estimation was way off and instead of estimating a hard ss’ value you could have just said that trading strong oaths for a ss isnt a viable way to obtain one
i said that trading boss drops for sunken swords isnt a good way of doing it above i think

anyway ill take my leave from this topic since the op’s question was answered and i dont care to deviate any further
clean sunkens; almost nobody would want boss drops for a sunken. and your chances of finding somebody to lowball is pretty low because most people with a sunken sword know that it’s worth more than boss drops 
those are some words that are pretty subjective to some people though. some may think that lowballing for profit is scamming, while some think that it’s fine because you’re at least giving the person something rather than nothing.
