Treasure Chart Spawns - Only on Certain Island Chests?

I only need Palo Town and Elm Island treasure charts to get 100% sea exploration, but I’m not getting them at all.

I’m wondering if this is because I’ve been only getting chests at Harvest Island and that charts for islands spawn only in certain island chests. So far I get Frostmill, Shell Island, and Ravenna a LOT at Harvest Island.

Treasures can spawn at those islands its just that for some reason they’re more common at ravenna, shells, frostmill, etc…

Larger islands have a lot more parts that can be dug into, so you’re much more likely to get a chart for these islands

You can get charts namely from scroll chests -

The reason you may not be getting treasure charts for Elm Island or other smaller islands is likely due to their size if the charts consider such when generating locations.

Im unsure if the charts simply choose a valid spot on any island, and as such it’s less likely for you to get charts for small islands,
or if a valid spot on valid islands is chosen instead, considering you can get charts for islands which do not have charts for island exploration completion [i.e mango island]

I’d recommend doing exotic/legendary charts since the same area can’t be repeated twice in the same chart, and increases the probability of getting an uncommon island as a chart location (that means you’ll have to go through the pain of doing Ravenna, frostmill, and shell island charts)

Gotcha, I’ve gotten a bit used to it but those are pretty much almost as rare as getting the charts I want haha

Unfortunately this was the outcome for my next legendary chart, these are literally the only islands that have more than 1 treasure chart for completion

Finally got Elm Island and Palo Town by just visiting Limestone for some scrolls.

I have a feeling some islands do spawn scrolls from other islands while some don’t like Harvest.

Can’t provide any proof, but after farming scrolls on harvest for hours and getting nothing, I do feel like this is true.
