TL;DR
Glass was able to deal 1,597 in a matter of seconds using an atkspeed/power build with ultimate art of 20 smallest multiblast, making it instant kill anyone that has an hp below it.
So I thought of a way to perhaps deal high damage while being in a safe distance and so I thought of magics that would fit this. First of all, you would probably think that the magic suited for it would be metal and earth but sadly while they’re the magic with the highest magic, they’re also one of the slowest.
As of testing, it seems to be that speed alone affects the distance of blasts, meaning metal and earth would be instantly removed from the list. DoT would of course also be included as they also contribute to the final result of the damage. Knowing the requirements, I have listed the following magics to suit it: Acid, Fire, Glass, Plasma, and Poison.
During testing, I first went with getting them in high enough level to unlock multiblasts as this would be used to test the final result of the damage including DoT. Out of all the tests, only glass managed to win, the reason being is that bleed somehow stacked with each other, making it different from the rest of the magic in the list.
After knowing this, I went ahead and max leveled up the file and gave it atkspeed/power build as to boost the damage and speed further. After that, I made the multiblast with the smallest size/explosion into an ultimate art and created a power aura spell. Then the final test begins.
First I went with testing it on NPCs, in this test, I used ravenna ensign. Attacked it and calculated the damage as it immediately dies before all the attacks could hit. Here’s what I managed to find, a whopping instant damage of 1,297 with lingering DoT that deals 300 damage, totalling of 1,597. It’s insane, using this build would literally allow you to instant kill anyone except those above 1,597 hp and in here I conclude the true potential of glass.
It certainly wont if you use it in a normal pvp, however it can be used by cowards ( like me ) to kill someone from a safe distance. In other words, a sniping build

Mages have REALLY high damage potential when compared to other builds. But that doesn’t change the fact that glass is honestly much worse than many other magics.
The point is to have a build that can deal high damage from really far. I can see you saying that metal/earth would be the best suited magic but the distance of the blast is affected by speed, therefore immediately removing them from the list.
The rest doesnt seem to have a DoT that can stack, therefore it’s only glass that can deal the maximum damage from really far.
He wasnt, at the very least there are no signs of it plus I doubt small blasts can produce glass rubble. I tried timing it in the time there were a lot of numbers showing up but yeah, I screenshotted at the wrong time
Yeah but I havent really tested it in beams considering it nerfs the dmg at a certain amount and beams has limited distance so I didnt really bother. But hold on, lemme try and calculate the dmg
Ok damn, the damage is nerfed by a lot using multibeam with smallest size/explosion and I doubt making it ultimate art, which is currently locked at mage build, would make much difference. At best near the hp of a no hard stat mage.
Maximum damage is 596 including the DoT ( It’s also only dealing 1 per tick ) however, using the atkspd/damage build, its about as fast as a single blast without any atkspeed stat, all in all an easy 596 damage that’s also as spammable as normal blasts, this is actually quite a nice find
