Debuff Idea

Crippled is applied by getting your legs badly hurt (e.g. falling, legs being slashed, etc). This makes your Sprint 75% weaker. Lasts only for a little while (10 Seconds), or 50% longer on Bloodlust Mode (15 Seconds).

Item Idea

Item: “Painkillers”

Type: Medical

Stack Limit: Start with 3, 4 Maximum

Appearance: An opaque white syringe with “Painkillers” printed on it along with a red blood droplet that’s crossed out. (Roblox Compliant / Alternate Skin) Similar to the syringe, but it is a bottle of pills instead. Usage of both variants should be obvious.

Effect: Only heals 15 HP (50% of the Bandage), but will give you the Painkiller buff for 30 seconds.

Unique Buff: Become immune to Slowing effects (e.g. taking damage) except crippled, allows you to Sprint at 75% speed when crippled, and certain traps are heavily weakened (Perform a Handstand then get up after tripping from barbed wire, escaping a bear trap is much easier, etc). Also gets rid of any visual effects caused by low HP.

maybe we should cut down the classes and make sub classes that fit into the class

perhaps toxin class could be under the trick class since it seems like a large gimmick to have toxins

Monster Idea

Name: “Unseen Killer”

Types: Lurker Class

Appearance: A tall humanoid dark figure with 2 bright red eyes and a bloody sword with said blood emitting a glow. Usually makes dents in the ground where it walks.

Behavior: [TL;DR Fast monster which has a “wind up” movement speed and spawns when a player is in the dark for too long.]
When the Player is in a very dark area for some time (15 Seconds), The Unseen Killer will spawn. It will make loud footsteps when it spawns, and will stay still for 10 / 5 (BL) seconds. After the 10 / 5 seconds has passed, it will start walking, then will eventually accelerate into running. Speed starts off from slower than the player’s walking, then faster than the player’s Sprinting speed within 10 / 5 (BL) seconds. The Unseen Killer can attack the player with it’s sword whenever it gets in range to deal 40 / 65 (BL) HP worth of damage. Whenever it does this, it will slow down by 50% for 2 / 1 (BL) seconds to compensate for it’s superior speed.

How to avoid: [TL;DR Use light from either an item or natural lighting to avoid Unseen Killer.]
The Unseen Killer is scared of light. Whenever it is about to approach light or is directly shined with it, it will scream loudly and back away in the opposite direction for 5 seconds and go idle after it, and will either go back to normal after a player goes back into the dark area, or will disappear after 10 seconds. Try to save your Light’s fuel so you can blind Unseen Killer if you need to go into a dark area, or you can just move into an area which isn’t dark if the area already has been used for everything.

Based on: The Don’t Starve’s “something” entity which kills players who stay in the dark for too long. Alternatively, based on the monsters people may hallucinate when in a dark room without any illumination.

here’s my idea for classes:

we cut them down to 7 classes total, and each other class can be a sub class of that

heres the 7 we cut them down to:

Phantom class
Trick class
Slasher class
Lurker class
Beast class
Boss class
Easter egg class

sub classes:
abomination class - sub class of beast class

toxin and fraud class - sub class of trick class

robot and burst class - sub class of phantom class

ambush class - sub class of lurker class

only another light user can see a pun :wink:

also do you think you can tell me what you mean by each class?

poltergeists take form of inanimate objects, and robots can classify as that

classes are ways to help categorize monsters by strengths, appearance traits, resistances or immunities to certain items, as well as weaknesses.

a robot class cannot be harmed typically by bear traps, but EMPs are incredibly effective in stopping them.

lurk classes rarely appear when players are in groups and “lurk” in the shadows waiting for the group to dissipate

and so on
