where is element class??
like ice or fire or plant or water based entities?
where is element class??
like ice or fire or plant or water based entities?
idk, you think i could fit that as a sub class?
should be its own standalone class tbh
i mean that idea seems to be kind of like a ghoul taking the form of an element
nah
could be like a golem or ice monster
spirits don’t have to get involved
OH SHIT
DEMON CLASS???
totally forgot this one dayum
yea that makes more sense instead of elementals
well demon can specifically tie to fire based attacks
yeah maybe no elemental
all the other elements can just go to robot or spirit
aight here are my ideas for class descriptions then:
The most basic type of monsters, taken up by killers and insane people alike. These monsters roam around the map looking for their target and chase after them ruthlessly when they spot them. Some more advanced slashers will set down traps or tripwires that alert them to your location when stepped in.
This class is taken up by enemies who specialize in gimmicks to try stopping you, such as invisibility, poisons, bursts or illusions to trick you. Most monsters in the trick class won’t directly attack you usually, but the ones that do are very dangerous.
This class is taken up by ghosts, ghouls, poltergeists and possessed robots which are immune to stunning traps such as bear traps and can sometimes jam locators. Most of these monsters have to be directly seen to be hurt by the player.
This class is taken up by monsters who will lurk in the shadows of maps and hunt the player down or wait for them to ambush them. These monsters are the most mysterious of all classes, as they are shown to be monsters with no possible origins of creation.
This class is taken up by monsters that embody an element of some kind, such as water or fire, and will affect the map depending on their element (ex: fire demons can make the area burnt or burning). These monsters take some time to form, but when they do they will ruthlessly hunt down the player until they disappear again or the player is caught.
This class is taken up by large, hulking monsters that are ruthless and know the location of the player at all times. The monsters in this class are shown to be from folklore or are hulking manmade abominations that went horribly wrong. Monsters in the beast class will also have a raging mode which activates at the last minute of the round, where they will get angry and pick up the pace, becoming much faster and can hurl themself towards the player.
This class is taken up by boss fight monsters which are fought at the end of the week in-game. These bosses will pull gimmicks from many other monsters while also using their own to fight you. Once defeated, the round will be over and the player will leave and claim their reward. Boss monsters will drop lore documents about monsters found through the randomized week in game.
This class is taken up by monsters from various horror games, such as slenderman or FNaF. These monsters pull the main traits of a class while having their very own gimmick to use as well. While these monsters are rare and challenging, they are very rewarding when you beat them.
also made a trello for this idea
It’s very unfinished, but is a good format for what it might look like
boss classes aren’t guaranteed to spawn at every end of the week, and can in fact spawn on any day except day 1
they have a small, 2% of doing so, and are incredibly strong.
if your rng is ass, you can get up to 2 boss monsters in a game.
also I’ll add some map ideas but idk how to design em
that seems cool
Maybe it could be an overall area you visit for the week that has different areas for different classes (such as a forest lurker monsters can reside in or a haunted manor for ghosts or slasher monsters)
yall gauuy
bitch
scariest monster idea here
yeah probably stereotypical horror settings or common places twisted into horror zones
like supermarkets
campsites
neighborhoods
apartment complexes
etc etc
heres some monster idea: some kind of flying thing that emits light, basically a phantom eye from phantom hourglass or spirit tracks except it also gives off light that shows it’s vision, you need to stay out of it’s sight or it rings around you and entangles you to slow you down, and the ringing would alert all monsters near by.
you can lure it somewhere with sound, and can stun it, then actually defeat it if you aren’t spotted, for some time at least before it eventually respawns.
in bloodlust mode it just gives ESP hacks to every single monster if you are spotted.
it can also do this on the final night with a 20% chance to activate it’s lust form for normal or casual play
(every monster except boss monsters have a lust form)
