I’m making magic symbols for fun now I guess it’s kinda easy though I wish I knew how to do radial symmetry in krita

Not really a lot of context for this… just an idea that’s been sitting in my mind for what AO’s postgame could potentially be…

As for how this all even works, it’s still really rough around the edges, but I guess I can go into a little detail

At some point either near the end of AO’s main story or when the story is complete, the player can backtrack to the Dragon Sea and meet two NPCs who will be located somewhere presumably high atop a mountain. A human and a dragon duo will be near a telescope as they talk to the player about a huge discovery they made that strangely no one has been talking about, and that’s the discovery of the Astral Sea, a massive expanse of magically irradiated pieces of Earth that were launched into orbit by the battle between Acheron and Theos (I’d assume Athena’s Wisdom would be updated to include a page on the Astral Sea if this ever becomes official). Eventually the player is given a questline to collect several materials and drops from creatures and structures in the Dark Sea to create a special ship frame which can fly out of the atmosphere. Once the player completes the questline, they’re given the frame blueprints and they are able to access AO’s postgame area. I don’t have much in the way for how the actual Astral Sea works gameplay wise or what it’d be like, though one can imagine the possibilities of a space themed area

(If you’re wondering how there’s another human in the Dragon Sea, let’s just say Thandor was given the Calvus treatment, because I’m spiteful and I hate him)

(Also the Astral Sea would be the only area in the game where you’d have totally new physics and whatnot due to the low gravity, just something neat I guess)
