Typs pseudo arg thread

Typ0 sent out a bunch of dms labeled “all screaming nowhere” and encouraged us to piece together the clues in a forum topic, im gonna go ahead and assume the point of this is to piece together what looks like chunks of some kind of narrative he gave us, specifically the text below the

Anyway heres mine:

Well, that’s as much as I could remember my earth friend. I’m sorry I rambled for so long.

But that tape revealed that the earth was a far more dangerous place than initially perceived, and other media such as this could theoretically exist too. Now this may sound silly on the surface, petty, even, but I have my reasons to believe the tape is what knocked out the power in the room. And if one tape can control the real world in such a manner, well one could imagine if another malicious tape knocked out our air system or life support devices onboard this vessel.

You wonder how this policy came to be despite no one else supposedly noticing the tape?

That is a great question.

I don’t really understand it myself either.

Maybe others saw the tape and implemented the protocol? Or maybe I am misremembering things. Either way, dangerous media is certainly one of the main reasons behind our caution in this solar system.

z’at what that was? Should I put in mine?

Probably, im pulling this theory out of my ass but it cant hurt

Typ0 going on some antics again as per the usual

Arg? I’ve just been talking with dubious

All screaming nowhere, Stock's part

Somewhere inbetween the transition from slasher to creature feature, I became incredibly nauseous for no apparent cause. It caught me off guard greatly.

Though I was, barely holding on, I continued on with watching the film.

The monitor shake happened again, but this time it was not a new movie.

There they stood, lined up and brightened as if to place emphasis.

The invader, the murderer, and the creature.

But they weren’t in some sort of odd crossover or commercial, they were just… Standing in complete darkness. Backs facing me.

but then suddenly I noticed something appear from the depths of the inky blackness of the monitor itself.

It resembled an uncanny pair of earthling eyes. To a degree that I’ve never seen them portrayed before. It certainly didn’t help my nausea. As now I was practically holding a bucket to my side.

But I had to understand what I was watching… I want to know what this all meant!

Then the eyes made themselves more defined, and began speaking to the 3 movie antagonists, aimlessly staring back as if in a trance.

I couldn’t hear a single word due to how sick I felt, almost as if the presence of this newfound character was causing it.

But whatever it said, I felt… cold afterward.

I haven’t gotten a dm, I guess I’m just not an important forumer
(nah jk I haven’t been using it a lot)

Mryes give us your lore we have to figure out the oa release date

Yes… that tape…

It was as if it happened yesterday.

Doing my usual duties as a culture researcher, I picked it up to read what it said.

The name was scribbled out in a dark ink, and the plastic was a strange pale grey, unlike the rest of the black ones in the box.

Curiously, I put in the VHS into one of the very large special earthling monitors, and hit play.

What I saw next wasn’t a family memory or an old cartoon for sure.

Everything past that was just me and dubious chatting about… stuff

ha ha, my section is bigger than you guys’s!

Well if one thing is for certain, they all seem to have some relation to media and tapes

Syk’s bit

The screen was entirely solid black when the tape entered, even after several minutes, it persisted.

But then 2 small, nigh indistinguishable dots appeared, and then eventually those dots formed into a rudimentary menu of sorts.

There was only one option to interact with the tape however.

I pressed the white triangle that appeared in the middle of the screen, and sat down to watch the curious tape.

It started off as to what looked like a very low budget horror film. The plot was a very rudimentary “alien invasion” movie, unrealistic given our diplomacy standards, but that’s unrelated.

The movie had the pretty genetic bad guys that bore large heads and silly looking guns with ridiculous spaceship designs, and while seeing an earth city being razed to the ground by lasers was not necessarily pleasant, it wasn’t the weirdest thing about this tape.

At some point, the audio cut out, and, the monitor did something I’ve never witnessed before.

It began to shake. Violently.

And after a while, it stopped.

But when I saw the screen again. The story changed completely.

I then hit him with “Typ you aight” to which he replied “Ulobulation”

You should keep replying, you get some good stuff

I’ll fire off my good friend “Zajef 37”

The what now

Ulobulation

He hit back with “Zajef 37”

Guess I just got lucky with the lore dubious

@DubiousLittleTyp0
