To create moves with a fighting style, you need to increase your mastery which can be done by dealing damage with your fighting style. The easiest way to do this is by going to Cernunno and spamming m1s and crash on the cultists and cernyx.

fort talos dungeon is better imo

Ngl Maybe Vetex could put the mastery level above the creation page, would reduce some of the confusion.

idk why its this way but im hoping he added a benefit to it.

i think mastery exists because your supposed to get a fighting style and stick with it and also so it doesnt promote people build hopping to the next meta even though its moderately easy to actually level up

if you havent heard the method on how to level it up just go to fort talos and beat up the ensigns, takes like 10 minutes max to do

Every path needs its restriction (even though the restrictions are in no way equal)

I think the idea of making a player train to master a style in order to use it is good, adding a sense of progression to each new style. But in practice, the mastery system we got just makes you go heck off and bore yourself farming low level enemies.
