Underrated Roblox Games:Battleboards

Battleboards is a game made by the creators of the famous RBLXWare.
Battleboards is based on a 12+ year old flash game called Jelly Battles, if anybody has played it or remembers it.
The game is a board game in a sense, where you have to defeat your opponents strategically using tiles, which go down every turn, there are many maps, cosmetics, unique tiles and more.

Let’s talk about tiles first, shall we?

Red Tiles/Hazards Tiles

Hazard tiles are negative tiles that are best avoided at all costs, due to them dealing damage in various ways, notable examples being the Landime and the Burn tile.

Blue Tiles/Status Tiles

Status Tiles are tiles that give you a buff when stepped on, certain buffs will be inflicted onto yourself or onto a random target based on RNG.Notable examples of Status tiles include invisibility and Freeze.

Green Tiles/Heal Tiles

Heal Tiles are tiles that only include tiles which are capable of healing the person that stepped on it.Notable examples include Heal and the very rare Full Heal tile, which…as it’s name suggests…it heals 100% of your health when stepped on.

Purple Tiles/Attack Tiles

Purple tiles are the main way of damaging your opponents in various ways.Notable examples include the laser tile, which damages everybody in the entire horizontal width and vertical height of the board, while the Nuke tile…well…it damages everybody regardless of distance, it’s very rare though.

Yellow Tiles/Movement Tiles

Yellow Tiles are tiles that teleport you, and the main way to outsmart less skilled opponents using the infamous Warp tile…which i won’t mention what it does, it’s quite silly to play around with these tiles yourself.

Special Tiles

Special Tiles are tiles exclusive to certain boards, which cause various effects, they are usually the main gimmick of a map, which makes them exclusive to it.

The game also consists of multiple gamemodes, which change the game drastically in a way, let’s mention a few:

Gamemodes

Normal-The Default Game experience.

Hardcore-Basically Normal, but the heal, full heal and shield tiles are excluded from the game.

Brickbattle-Replaces all tiles with tiles based on Doomspire Brickbattle.

Quick Thinking-Halves the amount of time you have to select a tile, pretty difficult gamemode and a begginner’s worst nightmare.

Versus-literally 2v2, i have nothing else to say, other than that you cannot damage your teammate, but you can still inflict status effects on them sometimes.

There are also various accessories you can get to customize your character, such as hats, shirts, faces and poses, some are event exclusive and become unobtainable if you weren’t able to grind cash on time.
These accessories can be obtained from Crates, which are basically RNG-based, but if you’ve got duplicates…you will be refunded by a certain amount, if i remember correctly…you get a 100% crate refund when you get a dupe of a legendary.
Yes, there are rarities…what did you expect?
Back when the game was still alive…i didn’t touch grass playing this game, and i think i’ve got most accessories in the game, and…i think i’ve got all event exclusive accessories? not sure, would need to check myself.

Well…that’s all i have to say about the game, here is the link to it:

battleboards is great

Is it similar to mario party in it’s game play?

what is mario party again? i kinda forgot.

Mario party is a board game where you go around a board landing on spots to make events happen:

Your goal is to collect stars and pretty much out do everyone else in either minigames that happen at the end of each turn or land on certain squares to steal coins / stars from your opponents

nah it works differently than that.
