Could the MC beat it in all routes (namely neutral and genocide lore stats)
Rules, They can’t save or heal from saves. Human magic does not hurt napstablook. Lore stats of monsters. MC can have any combonation of magic, as well as a stick and patrimony. right before undyne they get first awakening, just before asgore/sans they get 2nd. Fights are anime fights so no undodgeable attacks but its not turnbased (no dunked on, but sans can spam attacks). Reason for no pacifist is cause the win no dif. they have base hp of 100 and max of 199.
anyway this is mostly who would defeat them rather than can they complete the route. i will not be arguing much but i want what you hear. also gaster only counts if you can roll 10d10 on discobot and get 66 (unlimited tries)
Defense is both % resistance and hp so 50 defense is 50 hp and 50% res (no vit undertale leveling)
as for techniques they get all basic magic/str and all wep skills (per weapon type)
Undyne in Kindergarten Teacher mode would win
For neutral they don’t get past toriel, not because they would lose, but because they wouldn’t want to leave the first home and family they remember having
lets assume they are persuing the order in the underground so they actually continue (or beleive the underground is the order)
Is the difficulty of avoiding the attacks the same as it is in the actual game?
imagine 3d undertale roblox games (maybe last corridor) or like anime. they can regen after fights just like in ao as well (recovery system)
so yea the attacks are just as hard but they could also try using magic to clash with them
Well I’m thinking if its on the same level it is in the game then the AO MC should have a much easier time since they have much higher mobility than the child did
at the same time its lore stats
undyne the undying has 99 attack but in game it is actually like 12
Does any of this change anything when it comes to the difficulty of dodging of the attacks? Like would the mc be facing the same level of difficulty when it comes to dodging as the child did in the game.
no but it increases attack power, and enemy defense. and also the fights are not forced into turn based so sans isn’t limited to whatever he currently does and instead could use attacks how he likes.
so it’s about equal because while MC is more athletic the attacks are more creative
attack on the soul so it wasn’t exactly the child dodging it was them moving their soul (backed by how in deltarune kris isn’t actively dodging
No, but the soul as far as I can tell wasn’t capable of making any maneuvers like the AO MC does and unless there’s some statement or speed feat I’m missing probably not as fast either. If there is something on how fast the soul is tell me.
i mean it’s speed caps out but basically, the attacks are able to go faster and have more attacks but the mc is more athletic.
just take the soul out of the equation and imagine the MC fighting a rival with sparrow thrust and musket but on crack
I feel like the monsters are kinda getting buffed here so that they can close the gap, but if that really is how it is then yeah the MC isn’t getting far if that’s what they’re up against.
well, thats undyne namely. asgore would be more of fighting calvus on neutral and most regular enemies are t1 or t2 bounties
no, i put just a savant with all base skills. although if you feel like using a mage then sure
Well I think array might make fighting Sans a whole lot easier, and I dunno I honestly think the AO MC could probably beat Undyne. I have faith in my goat that they can dodge, block, and parry to victory
