Ursel Booth, The heir to the Savior

My name, is Ursel Booth.

I am a wind user and the third guild master of the Salvatore Mortale.

I pride myself in protecting the cities and townsfolk all across Magius as my great-grandfather would a century ago.

I believe that the Magic Council is a broken, corrupt mess of a government and needs to be taken down as they rule by giving fear, rather than giving hope.

My allies are the most important to me, i want to help build their skills as warriors to face the darkness in the world.

I don’t believe in trivial matters as making my guild the top guild, i want to create a ray of hope for all of Magius that they will see when our flag flies high.

Huh, I’d agree with the arcane government being corrupt, but… You do see the people literally screaming trying to get others to call the magic council

the MC is pretty widespread all over magius, sure they seem to nose in on a lot of things but they’re led by a group of ancient, godlike individuals like Trigno and Averill who are known to have been in connection (and possibly still are affiliated with) with The Peacekeeper themselves

that being said (after talking with tech and vetex about this), i wouldn’t consider most of the magic council to be corrupt at all and seek genuine peace in magius, i’d imagine most of these people screeching that “THEY’RE CORRUPT AND DESERVE TO BURN” can’t cope with the fines they give out for breaking enforced laws

some cultures definitely support the magic council for how much they’re willing to protect them (the people who cry out of the magic council’s aid are testament to this), but obviously you’ll have some cultures who are pretty sure they can defend themselves without the magic council’s aid, and can be pretty sick of their constant peacekeeping (see this trello concept questline here, which gives out a hint of a certain rebellion that wishes to oppose the deals of peace to start their own wars without the MC getting in the way https://trello.com/c/BGAoTndE/40-the-rebellion)

and yes the magic council npcs can get pretty reckless and destructive when a villain is in a city, but i’d probably blame that more on limitations of the AI moreso than what the magic council actually believes in (it’s really funny to watch too)

the magic council broke into my house and shot my dog

darn. d

There will always be the good and the bad, i believe my guild can act as better enforcement.

they lynched my great-grandfather

the rebellion quest-line has a weird bit in the description where it says “they ‘do not like to be kept on a leash’ and wish to have wars to the extent they wish” that leads me to believe that the magic council actually does allow wars that have somewhat of a limit. i think the reason the magic council has a limit is to keep their order in place and to ensure they don’t lose grasp of power.

personally, i don’t care about fines. i just think that some powerful force that has been controlling magius for a thousand years and has puppet kings and leaders around the whole continent is pretty weird. also they broke into my house and shot my TWO dogs

we’ll have to see what becomes of the rebellion questline, but after what i’ve asked from vetex and techlevel80 about the magic council, it seems like these guys are the real deal when it comes to their cause

but TWO dogs

that’s just unforgivable

the only reason people try to say the magic council is corrupt is because it exists
so far we haven’t seen a single evidence of corruption whatsoever

the “rebellion” questline is just a bunch of rebels, and therefore putting down a rebellion

only bad guys wear hoods so thats my evidence

That’s a bit rude to the peacekeeper don’t you think? :frcryin:

If Trigno and the others let the Captain+ to wear what they want, they won’t destroy shit that much.

Oh wow didn’t think I would meet another Ursel, mine is a magma user but not my main three slots. (Alt)
