[Useful?] Build Creation Checklist

Hi, it’s me. I’m back with more spreadsheets.

There are a lot of useful tools surrounding the game, especially the wiki, gear builder, various guides, and documents dedicated members of the community have made.
Despite all of that, I still found it an extreme pain to mark down exactly what gear I have (or still need) for prospective builds I’m making. So I made a tool to streamline it, and I figure you all might make some use of it as well.

This is a very simple and barebones but useful tool for keeping track of your progress on a build.

How-to (Requires a Google Drive account):

  1. Open the link above, and in the top left, there should be an option marked “File”. Select that, and then select the option to Make a Copy for your own Google Drive. Name it whatever, put it wherever, and then click the green Make a Copy button presented to you.
  2. Once a copy you can edit has been made, select your items using the dropdown. I’ve listed most gear sets and items that I believe might be at least slightly relevant to most finished builds, so you should be able to type in the first few letters of an item’s name to quickly find the dropdown option in most cases. (In the case of Atlantean gear, simply check whether or not you plan on having it applied to that item.)
  3. Check off the needed items you get as you create your build. Each possible item and modifier has a simple yes-or-no checkbox next to it marked “No” by default, and just clicking or tapping will work to change its status.
  4. Want to use this for multiple builds? No need to go to the hassle of making multiple copies of this doc. Just right-click the tab at the bottom marked “Build 1” and select the Duplicate option to make another checklist. Mind you, if you’ve made any changes previously to the initial sheet you duplicated, those changes will carry over, and you may need to erase those.

This is a minimal effort creation and post. Multiple options may be missing, typos may be present, etc etc.
If I’m missing any options that you think would be relevant to builds or find anything else wrong with the spreadsheet, please let me know at my discord (tinytakaya).
Happy buildmaking

this is extremely unnecessary but if you find it useful and think someone else might, go ahead and share it around
