Using the sit emote while fishing?

I’ve seen a few people do it but does anyone know how to use any of your emotes while having your rod out?

pull the rod out first, then do the emote, then cast

Okay that worked, thanks. For some reason, it doesn’t work with the Bronze Rod though.

just do the emote then pull the rod out at the same time. u can cast it without losing the emote unless you move.
