Doesn’t water deal increased damage towards bleeding targets? That should even out or at least partially mitigate it
Greatsword isnt for dmg, its for blocking with its high priority. It allows for defense against mages. The most meta build. 3 tornados beat 1 btw. so its aoe is greater and it can block more attacks. Its spin attack stays after the player leaves the animation meaning even more protection.
Mfs choosing builds for synergies, meanwhile I do plasma conjurer because I can make lightsabers
3 tornados that you actually have to aim to land vs 1 tornado that deals 180+ dmg with 70 power(conjuror) and is easy to land
greatsword is for punishing, but greataxe is better for poking
Star Wars
greatsword can deal 300 if all connect my guy. And 3 tornados at once cover more space like a wall. Meaning its harder to dodge.
aight bro
It does have DUMMY thicc Burst Potential. That and Tempest is the ONLY viable Counter to Pulsar for any weapon user
You have never fought against a dude that uses piercing gale
That AOE is just unfair, tempest actually takes skill to aim(at least for me, with greataxe I just press E in their general direction and the AOE does the rest)
Tempest is the AoE spin wym aim bro
if you mean mountain wind it’s free out of grabs , pretty much guaranteed 400 damage
Oh I meant mountain wind
yeah greatsword is better for punishing but greataxe is easier to land hits with
solution: just use both of them(you actually can?)
Came back to this tier list because I thought a little bit about what you had to say in the other thread I talked to you in.
I dislike this format of tier list because the thing about tier lists is that S is the top, C/B is average depending on how far it goes, and F is the bottom
When you have more items in the upper half than in the bottom half or vice versa, the average moves heavily. This is more of a nitpick but it doesn’t properly communicate how effective that some of these items might be definitively in the meta.
The mage tier itself is unneeded as you could just identify it as S and move everything else down, then group the worse ones like paladin and knight together. Juggernaut would be in line with savant as well.
PALADIN IS THE BEST CLASS!!! > :D
My thought process is as follows.
Mage Tier - Above S tier. The pinnacle of build strength and ease of use as it stands.
S Tier - Incredibly strong. These builds have very well-rounded and powerful kits that allow them to do well in almost any situation, and are a cut above the rest as it stands.
A Tier - Above average. Very solid options that absolutely have a chance against the builds above them when played correctly. Both Berserker and Warlock take far more skill and aim to operate correctly and their ease of use is very low, excluding the use of Iron Leg.
B Tier - Dead average. The sole inhabitant of this tier being Paladin is due to the class’ well-rounded nature in survivability, allowing for HP trades against many classes, even those above it. Paladin struggles due to its lack of mobility and lack of options, but it’s still an average pick.
C Tier - Below average. Unlike Paladin which can benefit from Mode, Knight is inherently squishier with even less of an incentive to play. It is a direct downgrade of Warrior as it stands, and the damage and tier decreases hit Knight much harder than its other Vitality hybrid counterparts.
D Tier - Far below average. Juggernaut brings nothing to the table and struggles in every single one of its matchups quite heavily. It has the least mobility of any class in AO, only being able to access Crash, and since the most optimal FS for Juggernauts is Iron Leg you hardly even have that.
F Tier - Useless. I know my placement of Savant sparked some debate, but this placement was less so about direct weakness and moreso about its current state as a class: Savant is useless. No matter how you spin it, you’d be better off on any other class. One of your stats is always going to be useless, and you get none of what makes your primary stat(s) strong. The Awakening is also pitiful. Though you can do well with a Savant, it is indescribably outclassed, hence its placement here.
Mage is not S tier, it is a cut above. If Mage wasn’t a part of the equation, my S tier choices would remain intact. The strength of the class does not take away from the strength of other builds, hence why there’s no reason to move S tier down. This isn’t for pleasing visuals, this is about giving my take on build strength with accuracy.
when you realize that mage is actually comparable to (and actually probably even better than) legendary weapons in ar
Better than ACD and Ornament maybe. Even though Mage is insane as it stands I wouldn’t say it’s close to pre-nerf Morock’s, Frostwater or Durandal
