Since the Omen set has been confirmed by Vetex. How much do you guys think it will be worth, I personally think it will be worth around sunken values, since I think it should have sunken type of stats.
Depends if it can compete with sunken or modified arcanium gear, though the fact that it’s locked behind a boss in the far reaches will at least assure a high value
I personally think so, I think its a similar level of difficulty to obtain them. Maybe vetex asked if he should change sunkens to mystic tier to match the Omen set.
If I had to make a guess, 100k-500k once people can do the fight consistently, with a higher price for a long time due to lack of items in circulation combined with difficulty. The value range depends on whether it’s only used for vanity, or if it has use in gear sets, with the top price being if it is BiS for PvP sets. If it is ugly, the price could end up lower if the stats don’t keep the value up.

It’s an armor set that will drop from the Omen (basically the kraken but larger)
It drops from the strongest sea monster in the game exclusively in the far ranges. It’s not going to be easy to get. And thats assuming you can get it to spawn. Then you have to kill it without it killing you (trust me, not easy)

Adding onto that, there’s more than likely going to be new ship parts to get from the Nimbus Sea before attempting to take down an Omen, because of the level cap increasing. I really doubt a Silver Trim or Archaic Hull stands a chance against it.
Also y’all really need to get Exotic Enchants on your ship attachments.

The kraken (an actual sea monster this time) but its so big it apparently pierces the clouds.
I suspect we’ll need organized hunting fleets at our current stage to take them down.
Perhaps someone could make a group or organization designed for bringing potential hunters together… a hunter association if you will

I mean its a sea monster designed to kill ships and the people on board them scaled to the far reaches.
Even at full release level cap, we’re not going to be properly prepared for the far reaches.
It also sounds like we’ll need to be firing ship attachments while moving the ship to avoid its attacks, which requires atleast two players.
Kraken gets mid diffed by my indomitable brig (it has a 100 gunpowder barrels)
