you underestimate the power of the 1st day patch crunch
One word, four letters caused a massive outrage in vernia,
“Fuck.”
At some point I’d give these characters random names instead of:
and
Ah, so the chat broke and it’s not just me. At least no one wen’t for a slur% world record.
The thing is, you never learn their names. For characters you learn the names of, it adjusts after learning them.
i cant high jump it keeps me in the animation
My fucking power just went out

Question:
how did you get this good at scripting?
they took these special pills you find on amazon :troll:
I’ve been doing this for almost 9 years; it’s quite literally just practice. Most of programming is just figuring out how to solve problems; you don’t really get “good” at it, you just learn better and better ways to solve those problems.
when i read this i keep thinking about “bro if actually i decided to start learning how to script 5 years ago i’d probably have a game with 500 players right now” in my head, but thats fr great dedication
I mean, I started learning almost 9 years ago and Venia only peaked at 27 players for day 1 of the first open test.
Experience doesn’t always equal a good outcome.
nah i’d just say its because the size of the server isn’t that big rn, but you’d probably get like 400 players on the open test if its a big server like 2k members or something lol
In terms of game creation, this is not necessarily true. With experience comes better understanding of how you want to make your game, how to develop certain elements, ui creation, etc. Marketing your game is a whole other field.
Honestly, I only found one real issue with the game… The slimes. You basically can’t fight them without dying each and every time. I can’t tell when they’re going to attack, and the damage they deal and the way they do it is ehhhh… A bit much, considering they can pile up easily, and we’re locked in place when attacking? Sure, this is probably a very early combat system, but I felt like something had to be said about this.
