Don’t worry, it’s just magic that has the power to slay a dragon. A lot of it’s spells and powers are actually connected to dragons (e.g. the fire dragon roar spell is a breath attack) and it’s commonly taught by dragons. Fun fact: it has many different variations like fire dragon slayer and metal dragon slayer and they are immune to/consume their element to recharge their magic energy quickly.
It’s just saying how powerful it is, it’s not used to kill them (at least not yet).
Fairy Tail has a weird way of naming those magics.
