Villain’s become a lot more playable this update, previously doing anything as a villain sucked

VERY TRUE now we can actually use shiprights at Ravenna which makes a big difference

still sucks ass for me, every 2 minutes i have to deal with the lv 200 majors

To me that’s a plus. I like fighting in the game so the more fights the better also u make way more money and can get way more bronze chest

i just cant handle the insane amount of random marines and the lv 200 is just straight up unfair

I’m aoe mage so I just mindlessly make everything go kaboom but yeah I could see that being a pain if u don’t have a lot of aoe

I think villain is better if you are good at pvp since you can fight more players for bounty and the downside of every player being able to hunt you rather than just villains is more manageable if you are good at pvp

that’s not even a joke, the only thing i’ve heard about villain files in the forums is the grand navy always being on you and the long jailtime

Back in WoM many people preferred villain as most downsides could be negated if you were careful

Villan rn is a straight upgrade to Hero

Upsides

  • Its got all shops advalable, AND its got the criminal-only shops
  • It can take down any ship it wants so ship farming is extremely lucritive
  • GN can be managed if you play carefuly
  • Cargo farm runs leteraly don’t cost anything except for time

Downsides

  • Occasionaly get jailed
  • More toxic hunters

i was a demon rep in WoM, being able to murder and destroy everything that moves ( and everything that doesnt ) is very fun

just this evening i demolished like half of cloud island houses out of boredom with a greataxe ( im a warlock )

the only downside was unable to use shop and had to run around the map praying to god one spawn ( took me literal days trying to find a tailor once )

captain can be a pain, sure, but you can run away form them most of the time

if you didnt have a bounty and had a rep of at most villain you could use every shop npc
