Interestingly, it would seem we actually start out with this weapon. Now its name is something to take note of; the “Eagle Patrimony”. If I had to bet, its abilities would take the form of birds, talons, and beaks.
Part of me is thinking that it’s a summon weapon. Akin to the summon staves in Terraria. If this is the case, vitality will definitely be interesting as a build concept.
but vetex ssaid no dynamic npc’s…
unless you count luring a villian to ravenna and having it’s splash effect a ravenna centurion for it to fight the villian dynamic
Patrimony means inherited property, typically from a father or a male ancestor (if it was from the mother, it would be a “Matrimony”, I think)
So yeah, the Eagle Patrimony is likely an object passed down through the family, and was given to the descendents of said god who blessed it. (And said god was a dude)
The Eagle is a symbol of Zeus, so its likely Zeus (the last time Tech used Eagle symbolism was on the last story riddle, and it was confirmed by Tech that the Eagle was supposed to be linked to Olympus and Zeus in a way)
Im guessing its MC’s rather than Tucker’s, as it is an artifact supposed to be passed down through family judging by name. I feel like the name might lose its meaning if it was otherwise. But thats just how I feel, I could be wrong
We can’t be sure, as this is the only real information explicitly told to us. However, we can infer a few things:
As vitality weapons were not begun with standard weapons or with strength or magic, it can be assumed simply copying the code from the other classes wouldn’t work.
This means vitality weapons will be at least mechanically unique.
Judging by the renaming of Warden and the abrupt mentions of Oracle items, combined with the lore of spirit weapons, spirit items will be significant in-game.
This means that Vetex will likely give them special attention. Especially seeing as how spirit energy is a counterpart to magic energy.
Vetex wants to live and knows his time will be limited if he just CTRL C + CTRL Vs weapons to spirit items.
We reach level 1 after speaking with morden near tucker’s grave. It would be plausible that he gives us the dagger AND the spirit weapon that could really well belong to tucker
Or its Morden giving us something that couldve belonged to us, like maybe MC was scrambling to get it while they were escaping. Morden noticed and managed to get it, later giving it to the MC before parting. (Or maybe Tucker was trying to get it for MC, which was what got him killed)
After all, the Order probs had all their belongings. If it belonged to anyone of the trio, they had to get it back.
Im just saying, its still possible for it to be MC’s as well. I wouldnt disregard that possibility.
