Up until the dark sea update that’s how it worked, but the balance team and vetex recently changed the scaling formula to reward high investment in fewer stats over medium investment in multiple stats.
I’m slightly concerned with the idea that 94 power is considered as “an afterthought”
this is a “balanced power/defence build”, focusing on the 6.7:1 ratio of defence to power while keeping the most viable options on their stat (gems are better at defence than power, etc.)
It has 113 power. 113 on a balanced build without any drawback/essence while having ~1650 HP and decent attack size
