Was warren in the seven seas

In the Myriad Warren states that he met Randal not so long ago in a place far from here. Could this mean ren travelled from the seven seas, but ren also says that he was a guardian of a kingdom a while ago so how would that work

I just realized that Ren is just Warren but without the war

Part of me doubts it. We know Ren is an Inferno magic user, meaning that he is certainly an incredibly (and likely terrifyingly) powerful Mage, but making it through the Dark Sea in its entirety to cross the world seems unlikely even for the strongest of characters. The myths of the Peacekeeper in the War Seas (dialogue from an NPC on Cirrus Island) makes me think that the Peacekeeper may have made the journey themselves sometime in the past, but as far as Warren goes, I personally have my doubts about him having been to / originating from the Seven Seas.

Considering that there are 5 sea clusters probably not.

AO begins only a month after AA though, Peacekeeper has been too busy either dead or dealing with his story in the meantime.

Also can you ss this dialogue or quote it? I’m curious about it

Progressing another file right now so I’ll grab the screenshot when I stop by Cirrus if I remember. The Peacekeeper seems to have formed somewhat of a religion in the War Seas.

The Protector refers to Theos not the Peacekeeper.

Could’ve sworn they specify Peacekeeper. Let me head to Cirrus and see if I can find the dialogue. It’s been like a week, so I might’ve forgotten. If it was Theos though, would that similarly imply that he crossed the War Seas? Theos was powerful before the destruction of the old world, but was he widely-enough known to be referred to as the Protector? I’ve forgotten a lot of the AA lore, so there could be something I’m missing.

It doesn’t really imply much since Randal could have just spread Theos’ story in the War Seas. Also, the tale of the relgion itself is more fictional than reality since it discusses how the Protector united the world and led them to safety which defintiely didn’t happen at this time. Hell, the people who follow this religion may not know of the difference between Theos and the Peacekeeper since the only aspect of the Protector they discuss is them being opposed to Durza.

The Protector was the light magic bandit that attacked Durza fr fr

Nah, the Light Magic user was the Vengeful Darkness since without them, Durza would never have turned evil.

I still don’t know what the dialogue says, but that sounds more like Hades ngl since he manipulated Durza and gave Durza the curse that sent him on his evil escapade

Yeah, the way it was written does imply the possibility of Durza being manipulated into who he was. Also, he could have been in a similar position because he was once a magicless boy who was most likely ostracized and isolated from others in his hometown which could have also caused his descent.

where would he have met randal though

i thought the protector was peacekeeper and the great protector was theos

Im about love how casual the people who only played AO will be but the people who played Arcane Adventures are about be shaking in their boots

It’s really anyone’s guess.
There’s nothing that concretely ties Warren to the 7 seas cluster, right now atleast.

Randal with his curse could probably end up anywhere in the world with his library, perhaps the Myriad was once in Azura? Seems like the kinda guy who gets around with all the histories he writes.

Or a funnier theory, Warren talking to a tree and Randal decides to just mess with Warren and start talking to him through the tree

Considering this takes place less than a year after AA I doubt the peacekeeper has traveled across the dark seas.
