also that’d kind of be making players forced into pvp(but then again with the entire pvp toggle disabled for clan/lb members thing it’s kind of justified)
idk like half a point of infamy for killing someone in a legendary clan

rn its mostly claiming islands for infamy and while that sometimes leads to pvp its kind of like scratching an itch on the right side of your head with your left hand. like get to the pooooooint already

I’m in a average clan and I lose 35 infamy when I get killed and I lose 105 when I get my island claimed.
So it’s 1/3 of the claim infamy gain ig
It’s 1/4th the gain, but losses have a flat +10 or +5
Mainly because I don’t WANT to get hunted
Especially since I’m a PvE player in a CASUAL clan
im sorry man but those things dont exist in full release. clans are specifically for pvp in that version
if i had to suggest something to fix it it would be casual servers allowing pvp toggle and a cap on infamy gained in them

Look, we have clan servers for some reason, but we don’t have casual/competitive servers? (Obviously infamy gain from Pvp activities would either be reduced to just outright removed in casual servers to prevent exploiting)
i know itll never happen in AO, but this is why I greatly prefer when games dont have any built-in clan/guild system (or a very minimal one) and just allow people to make up whatever they want for them
People can get really creative when there’s no system to limit them, especially when said system would be designed for just one thing (pvp)
it also expands the types of interactions you can get between groups without anything like that in the way
