I’d like to suggest adding a new tab for customizing weapons, similar to how we already have separate tabs for magic and fighting techniques. Right now, there are two tabs, one for magic (with 3 slots for spells) and one for fighting (with 3 slots for techniques). It would make sense to add a third tab specifically for customizing the skills (only a few customizations as to not make it unfair) of our 3 equippable weapons.
Details/background on your proposal
Here’s how it could work:
Common to Legendary Weapons:
Animation: Modify the weapon’s casting animation.
Attack Amount: Set the number of attacks (max 5).
Shape Customization: Change the skill’s shape.
Spirit and Arcanium Weapons:
Same customization options as above and additional below.
Ultimate Art Option: Transform the weapon’s skill into an Ultimate Art for stronger effects (if there aren’t already set ultimate arts for spirits and arcanium).
Reason to add/change
Its a quite simple feature with good player benefits that would help make weapon customization more straightforward and accessible, giving players more freedom to tweak their playstyle without overcomplicating things.
you forgot to edit it so it looked like you wrote it.
they are adding a weapons tab but only for disarming an rearming. also kinda goes against the idea of the warrior class because i think allowing them to customize they’re skills makes it so they gain customizablity they’re not supposed to have
i just feel like the versatility they get from 15 different skills across 3 different weapons all with their own min maxed affins should be balanced by the fact that they’re skills are static. if they are using flying slash but think it’s too small they can use striking gale.
I would also like to know why “you” wrote
this refering to yourself in third person, this is so obviously AI i don’t know why you keep denying it
yea this isnt really needed, putting skills on weapons lighter or heavier than the original weapon will heavily influence its size, speed and damage.
also theres already a big variety of skills with even more coming, so adjusting their stats even further would be way too much variety. i do agree with changing some shapes and casting styles though that would be cool
I dont think this suggestion is entirely reasonable.
Weapon ability animations are usually unique to a move and thus being able to change the casting style of them may make them look weird.
As for the size slider, you could always just enchant your weapon or switch it out for a smaller/larger weapon. While a size slider may be nice, it may just cause a standard weapon to dominate the toolset of warriors.
Casting amount seems quite op for most moves and totally redundant for the rest.
Theres no reason for ultimate art to be locked behind spirit/arcanium weapons. On that note, where is the strength weapon? Why should the arcanium weapon have an ultimate art but not the strength weapon?
overall this suggestion is weird
Weapons have static skills because they have other advantages. Like weapon enchants, putting a skill on a different weapon to have different stats, skills not getting deleted when you remove them, and weapon switching not requiring you to farm hecate essence for 10 hours
i dont expect editing weapon skills to be added without gutting the “variety” of weapon skills, as essentially i’m pretty sure more than half of them are variants of eachother to compensate for the lack of editing
