You actually gave me idea for suggestion on Auras for sense, however I’m unsure if it’s really needed.
The more power user has on its build - armor stats, the bigger it’s aura is, although there would be max size, to avoid ridiculous auras, some other stats like haste, defense, and dexterity could add a bit of tones or colors to the aura, but I think it leans towards some anime thing.. That way you can find see who’s strong or not, or look for strong people to fight, making pvp more interesting (?)
Feel free to use this, whoever reads this, cause I’m not sure I’ll do this as suggestion + I’m not suggester yet
I call it sense.. Basically your screen gets dark, and you see some circles that are showing entities around.
Imo what I mentioned before could make sense vision look more.. variable? Every player will have different aura coloring depending on the build they’ll have (primary aura color would be user’s magic with variation), so you never confuse anyone lol
Or just unluck, cause I’m pretty sure the part that cares about sensing is like 20-40% of total community, add the fact that not every person who enjoys AO is not on the forum
It’s almost as if we live in a world of magic, going on an arcane adventure.
You can drop meteors on people, cause immense ecological damage Which gets repaired in an afternoon. You can become invisible with potions or vanishing style.
Yet with all this “realistic” features, an invisible weapon is immersion breaking? Really?
Argos pulls cursebane straight out of his ass but that’s still realistic to you isn’t it?
Your priorities are not in any order that I can comprehend
Sigh… learn some manners, and then - I’ll hear you out.
Did your parents not teach you how to speak with respect? Your suggestion is not life-saver, + moderator mentioned that it was suggested a lot.
Personally I would not enjoy, the “immersion” as one person named it, if for example some npc pulls out giant weapon out of nowhere, unfortunately for you - I don’t care about Argos, about npcs, if you played the game, you should’ve noticed that they don’t have their weapon equipped on their waist, back, or anywhere else, they hold it instead (if im not wrong), which does not seem to me as “breaking” as example I previously mentioned.
I would love if reparation of damage would be more detailed, for example a certain group of builders gathers around damaged area, slowly building back the town, like we have it with Towers.
And as cherry on top - you really are naive, if you think that you could understand everyone, reality is that everyone is different, hopefully it helps.
I wish if you reply, then you’ll do it with your head cold.
Your reply, as first interaction with me, shows hostility, so don’t be surprised that I reply to you in this manner.
Execuse me, if I may ask - would there be a chance, if someone suggests for npc to have their weapons visible equipped?
Reference:
Unfortunate to bring up such rude reference though.. I do remember tho in cutscene Argos just carrying his weapon around, so I think he means “Devourer”
As this person mentioned, and from my “speculations” (?), NPCs mostly have their weapon holding in their hand, or pulling out of straight air.
My question is: Would there be a chance for suggestion that will ask NPCs to have their weapons equipped just like players have? For example on their back, or at waist
Unfortunately I’m unable to see who votes for what
Didn’t bother either, why should I bother learning that
So I’m not sure that is a problem that sticks on my side
Thank you for replying in more adequate manner, I appreciate that.
Just click on the number part of the vote button and you’ll see em.
Tho it appears we have different ideas on what’s immersive or fitting to the game, so I guess it’s better we leave it at that
unfortunately i dont think players are ever going to get actual devourers, and if they do they’ll likely be ancient-tier equivalent for weapons considering their power in lore
