for those who dont know, roblox has (or had) 2 websites, www.roblox.com and web.roblox.com
i dont remember what the difference was between them (pretty sure when you input your birth date when creating an account) but they still redirected you to roblox

Web-roblox was used to denote a logged-in account that was marked as <13. Very useful for catching underage users on wikis and Discords. Www-roblox was for everyone else.
I knew you used to be able to type it either way, but can someone explain the differences to me in detail?
if the user had an <13 account, roblox would automatically change the url to from www.roblox.com to web.roblox.com for some reason
underage users would often send web.roblox links and they would promptly get banned from 13+ communities
Probably doesn’t matter anymore because of their new age classification system
it’s been gone since like 2023-2024 bruv
for me it was alive until like 2 months ago
