    varies wildly but as long as i keep to myself and not annoy others people are usually chill. being at neutral bounty removes 99% of gankers from your life automatically

    discord is very chill in my experience aside from the one troll that shakes things up a bit

You see, I had a neutral bounty but now it is well above 1 billion after I was ganked before going into a dark sea expedition by some random pvper , who I killed and gained his bounty (no poster) and I haven’t gotten around to leaving the bank clan that I own and getting a friend to hold it just so I can go to the navy and join them. People just kill you for the kill statistic tbh

My interactions with the community in game have been very dependant on whether or not I had over a million fame at the time.

Most of the time I have just encountered unusual but not really problematic people.

In game, it really depends on the session/server. Sometimes I join and nothing happens and its boring, sometimes my session is ruined by some random person (e.g. positive reps who gank positive reps), but sometimes I join and I find an angel and have a jolly good time (e.g. an actually nice pvper who is fun to fight against).

I am a bit saddened by the lack of silly and utterly goofy moments (tf2 youtube clip montage type stuff), such as this one time (today) when I found someone at low hp after a fight (they had heavy drawback). They were really scared of me and kept on trying to hide, but I just asked them for their best cursed mushroom meal (they were in a clan that had a description like “we make the best cursed mushroom meals”). They traded me a meal that was actually pretty good, and I dipped with a thanks (you’re gonna have to trust me that the scenario was funnier in game).

Half of the community makes me want to leave AO forever and the other half is why I’m still here
