Weird computer issue

So, on my laptop, I was using it, and everything was fine, until suddenly, the fan started revving up like CRAZY

I had no idea why it started becoming so loud and intense, I even opened my laptop, unplugged it, and cleaned it off from dust, but EVEN STILL, it continued to run abnormally fast when I plugged it back in again.

The weirdest part is my laptop wasn’t even overheating, and I wasn’t running any intensive programs on my PC, so I have no idea how or what could be causing my fan to be acting the way it is.

I tried disabling the fan entirely in my BIOS settings as well, and shockingly, it continued to run.

If anyone has any idea as to what this issue is, please help me, I have zero clue why my laptop is doing this and I can’t seem to find any tutorials online.

buy a desktop

I literally am writing this from my desktop :fr:

also can I have like real advice please?

Have you maybe see the inside if there is any dust covering your laptop?

this might not be the causation, but it would not harm to at least check it

I did that, and uhm, there was definitely dust, but I managed to clean it all off, still acts broken.

I genuinely have no idea what could be causing this, and when I turn on the laptop in question, I get a 90B error warning me before I proceed.

If that is not the case, there is likely a chance your laptop fan starts to worn out

Unfortunately, you must replace your laptop fan to fix this.

and if your laptop is made for planned obselescence… thats fucked…

could always check whatever program came with the laptop to manage fans, if any. i know the acer nitro 5 has one, and im sure any “gaming” laptop has one
theres an option to run fans at their max speed, and one that raises said max speed

Does your monitor happen to go black screen as well?

yeah when I boot it up I get an error

but then if I hit enter the PC goes to the normal mode but the fan is super loud

Happens with my desktop but it shutsdown my computer instead

oof

smh bro the fan hates me

Did you turn on the power button?

No, I re-combobulized the glitzer-diatomic megadeactivator and wiggled the sprinklebonk port into the graphics enhacing energy transmutating quantum fluctuation quandanglesquarbler.

Searched the error code up for you. Here’s the deets.

for some reason… it’s stopped?

It suddenly worked fine after my PC updated

…Huh.
My only guess then is that the chipset drivers may have been bad, and those got updated with the update.
