I’ve recently started driving too and the highway isn’t even as scary as I thought it would be. I blame American television for such lies!

we have fucking pre-pubescent children operating motorcycles completely by themselves around here
me being 15 and taller than most males in the country driving a car without a license wouldn’t have anyone batting an eye

Probably the biggest issue with driving on a highway is self control and focus because it’s so mind numbingly boring. It’s pretty much entirely a mental game.
Good job though, personally driving stresses me the fuck out so I avoid it at all costs.

I’ve seen a 10 year old driving a scooter on the streets so this is completely normal
I did see what looked like a 12 year old girl in the front seat of a truck pulled over by a cop at the beach once, no one else in the truck
