We're a god-descendant, they're not even hiding it anymore

Theos’ ability to battle curse users so well was explained by his magic staff. Since he skipped the process of casting magic circles, he could attack just as quickly as a curse user could.

i don’t even think curses are that strong in lore :skull:

nothing wrong with theos simply being goated enough to manhandle 99% of all curse users in the verse he doesn’t need a special anti curse user ability

Problem, Theos statues exist in the Dark Sea. With his staff and everything, these statues could have only been build pre-Fracture.
At that point in time , Arcanium didn’t exist. Soooooo what exactly is his staff made out of?

nice find, i wasn’t sold on it being arcanium yet so i’m glad we got more evidence.

Huge brain deduction, I actually did ask Vetex a weekish ago in the patreon chat if there was an arcanium-equivalent material before the Fracture but he never answered me :frcryin:

Maybe it’s spoilers?

Did y’all deadass forget the way arcanium is made is treating an existing weapon

Arcanium and spirit weapon isn’t really mutually exclusive unless vetex says otherwise

You’re right! That does seem to be a bit of a plot hole. Wow, I never even thought of that.

Fair nough

You’re right on that, from everything we’ve seen it’s very possible to make an Arcanium Spirit Weapon. Since Spirit and Magic feel more like they go hand in hand than repulse each other

Maybe? Remember the whole “Cursebeard gathered his curses without Arcanium” spiel? It could be related.

Any idea of paladin weapons is a W for me

On topic though, what if it was enchanting the magic on the metal itself? Or am I stupid

he will not
he will not

I just feel like if you messed with a spirit weapon to that degree, it’d kind of be like replacing all the copper wires in a computer with gold wires.

stocksounds you’ve changed

you’re not the man i onced called brother anymore… youre… you’re a normie now

would i rather have credibility with the majority of people, or one person who’s just used a sick emoji on me? hmmm… tough decision.

As in nothing of significance would happen to its function but the price would go up?? What is that analogy

we were brothers, once.

I think he means that if a god blesses an object, and then you take an atom of that object and put it on something else, you might not transfer the god’s blessing over.
While that’s a complete exageration, obviously, swapping out the metal of the patrimony, for instance, feels like it’d lose most its properties.
(Also how are strength spirit weapons gonna work ? Are we gonna get BIG necklaces ?)

if it helps, I still think you’re one of the cooler people around here.
