What actually is Deepwoken?

I’ve seen a few people talk about it before, and I’ve even had someone say I played WoM like Deepwoken, so I’d like to know what it is exactly
Things I’ve gathered:

  • It’s a game on Roblox
  • Pvp seems to be a major feature
  • It doesn’t seem to have been released yet, but I could be wrong

Someone please help me

Skill issue originated from Rogue so there’s gonna be a lot more than just inferno

Deepwoken is a permadeath sea based game made by the creators of Rogue Lineage. They have made many things worthwhile such as a new permadeath system, spell creation, a lot more emphasis on lore, and a bunch of other stuff. PvP and PvE are balanced and one or the other doesn’t overshadow the other.

Does that mean that whenever you defeat someone they permanently die? Or is there some sort of lives system?

We don’t fully know the permadeath system, but its not lives. Remember that this is a roguelike/lite game so permadeath has to be a thing. You’re meant to die and keep doing runs. However progression has been heavily reworked to work solo and be more fun.

I feel like permadeath would disincentivize PvP, but I haven’t played a permadeath game so idrk.

i play games to hop on at any time i want and have some fun doing whatever the hell i want. probably why im enjoying gta right now and probably why i never will enjoy those permadeath games
