Literally any and all information about where Sirens come from, how smart are they, what their relation to normal humans is if there even is a relation, why they live in the dark sea, and really just any info about them would be greatly appreciated. That is if there actually is any information too of course.

since the au is based off greek mythology they might just be sirens that survived durza and theos’s world nuke, and they’re only in the dark sea cause otherwise they get hunted to extinction

I’ve always headcannoned that they used to live alongside humans peacefully until they were driven mad by the Dark Sea’s magic-polluted weather. Maybe someday we’ll see some more Siren lore in the future?

there isnt any canon info cause they literally have never been mentioned before AO
but last time i asked this and after some agruements we came to the conclusion that Sirens are just, Sirens, like the one in mytho ( albeit with some different, like many things in AO are )
True, but there’s always the possibility of Vetex taking a few creative liberties with their lore in the future.
They’re most likely 1-1 to Greek sirens, with the only major difference being the ability to use magic

I’m honestly just wondering how intelligent they are cause their behavior’s just like that of an intelligent bird, but they can also use magic, tools, and wear clothes. That would make me think they’re as smart as humans but in every other way they just act like predatory birds, the fact they just horde treasure in a cave and haven’t shown any tendencies to build stuff makes it seem like they’re just on the smarter end of wild animals. Now that I think about it though they might just be suffering from the same insanity as everything else in the dark sea too and thats why they act like giant birds but still have some intelligence, I dunno
unless stated otherwise, I just assume things from greek mythology are 1-1 to their counterpart in the au
