What are the ups and downs of increasing vitality stats?!?

I NEED TO KNOW
please
it
would
be
good
to
know

you wouldn’t be able to use those vitality stats because now they’re gone thus losing a less amount of stats to spend

but that works for every other stat location so that goes for all other stats lmao

Pros- Increased hp, if you go a vitality build you might get damage reduction, spirit weapons, and wardens are chads

Cons- Less points into other stats increasing their damage, and if you use vitality without warden you’re a min maxing nerd

so does that make every other HP build nerdy???

fade-away-oooooooooooo

Yes, even if you have 1 point on a mostly pure mage build you are a nerd

nerds being stronger than you because they can tank your attacks

Won’t get rid of their nerd status

yes.

if youre a pure build with a bit of vitality (i.e 20/80 mage) youll have a lower damage output

if youre a paladin for example your damage will scale with both stats but youll have a lower magic stat which means you may not meet the requirements for certain things like spells (also applies to the other example but a bit less so)

That’s why they’re nerds, they’re playing the meta

these ppl are saying that putting less points into your other stats will just decrease damage, but it will actually affect what skills you can unlock and the size scale of your attacks too

this likely wont be on release but vitality also gets spirit weapons

Explain mix maxing when it comes to ao

min maxing in the sense of getting all ur stats to the best possible combination and value to bring out the most ideal dmg, hp, defense, speed, etc.

basically hyper perfectionism with the best things possible. you can say it’s akin to if not basically metamancing but it’s a grey line w/ min maxing imo.

u could also be doing it to fit a gimmick i like do in dw and what not. where it doesn’t really fall down high in the meta of things and basically looks for the best perfect stats to fit the theme/gimmick ur doing.

then of course the second one being that u use min maxing to be a meta slave and what not

Why is everything being called meta when the game isnt out yet?

We are all so starved for this game we can’t help it

if you go full warden then ur just plainly stupid, what’s the point of having 3k health when you deal 100 damage?

it’s pretty safe to assume that knights or paladins are going to be meta. As for the weapons, I personally think that claw is going to be meta for some time, because of primal swipe.

100 damage is close to the current average in wom so it’s not that bad, and power amulets can help make it more even

also spirit weapons

spirit weapons

No way lmao  there is no way you just said that, if anything something like conjurer or warlock would be meta because they have access to grabs and lunging type attacks combined with magics zoning attacks allowing them to excel in every area
