Monsters of Etheria; had a lot of promising updates planned, but they gradually got scrapped before the game was canceled altogether.
It’s really the last Creature-Based Battlegrounds game I can think of that did well, and that’s pretty sad. I loved playing games like Pokémon Fighters EX (MoE’s original version) and Pokémon Legends when I was a little kid. Hell, when I got my computer a month or so before the Pokémon Purge, I still played them like I owed them money.

This one fell off due to the filtering enabled update that killed various other games.
In the game everyone had to build pieces of a monster then afterwards a player would be chosen to play as them and kill the other people.
It was peak in the mid 2010’s, would probably be mid nowadays.

was a bloons-like, basically the ONLY (and I mean ONLY) good tower defence game on roblox

only surviving craftwars at tis point is bad craftwars since nobody actually cares since the game is bad to begin with 
Astro Renaissance. It’s a fashion sci-fi game with a storyline aspect (somewhat like Royale High but cooler because it’s not just school), used to have a playercount similar to AO but now only gets like 20 people at a time. Probably due to the fact that the last update was in November.
Vesteria it was a rpg inspired by maple story and yeah even back then it didn’t have a huge player count but it was at least 1k players

adventure up was a really good game until the owners stopped updating it and made cash grab tycoons instead on another group (those games also fell off)
TB:BF. The original creator left it and TBZ for an unfunny meme game and now it’s being left to rot for an original game that will release approxiamately once Silksong does because the new devs just want to kill it for some reason???
Kinda sad because it was fun and it was a really cool concept
It’s also borderline impossible to play Zombie Mode now which is also a shame because some of my most fun times in the game stem from it specifically

Elemental battlegrounds,
like, i’m pretty sure the last 4 or 5 elements were specifically designed to kill the game in favor of blox fruits.

i don’t think i was ever around for its peak, but it’s a very fun board game where you jump around onto different tiles and try to kill the other players
Super Doomspire is so real I loved that game
