oops i deleted the other one on accident fml and fuck the new forum layout (mobile is unusable)
anyway, in order for me:
3: Limbus game
this shit was somehow worse than the slop that is bg games, combat played stiff as hell and just wasnt fun
2: Deepwoken clones
what if we took the downsides deepwoken has without the damn near perfection it has otherwise?
thats what deepwoken clones are. Rune slayer and Archived come to mind
1: Fisch, Sols rng, and other 0 gameplay games
i dont even wanna explain this, this is just unfiltered digusting slop
Dungeon Quest had its charm at first, but it got really grindy with the gameplay being nearly unchanging. Stopped playing when I got to Steampunk Sewers. The game has also been going through a p2w route, which sends up red flags. The recent buildings have been pretty cool, though. Still not enough to have me come back.
Archived is the most recent game that left a bad taste in my mouth. It looks pretty cool, I found myself having some fun with the combat despite some of its flaws. But the map seems pretty empty from what Iāve seen so far, and thereās not really much objective. Thereās also the fact that thereās quite a bit of bugs that Iāve encountered. Look, I get that the game needs some more work to be done, but youāve gotta make sure that the dialogue box is at least functional dawg
GPO was pretty miserable from the first time Iāve played. You start off in a small box island with combat basically boils down to hitting them before they hit you. I didnāt even make it past the beginning, I knew I wasnāt going to enjoy it.
Blox Fruits is a glorified bandit beater. Nothing more to say about it. I couldnāt get past the 8 snowman.
There are some more, but theyāre pretty irrelevant overall.
the wiki game that hit me with the realization that all pm roblox games are either utter dogshit, bait for item asylum/allusions kids calling themselves āpm fansā, or both
atleast deepwoken had the charm that kept you in until you got a good understanding of the game and decide to continue it
this thing on the other hand, looked like a mess of various attempts at making the map and gameplay look impressive, and it did NOT compensate for the horrid starter experience unlike deepwoken did
in my 1 hour of experience i barely knew what to do and only managed to get to an npc that im pretty sure i had to talk to⦠thanks to a video i watched sometime before playing archived. right after that i had to call it quits because i dont know what to do anymore and i do NOT wanna look up videos and guides to be able to play such a dogshit game
atp pm roblox creators should just straight up recreate the turn-based combat of either ruina or limbus and make it a multiplayer game in roblox , though im pretty sure they wouldnāt do that since most of the āpm fansā in roblox donāt even play ruina or limbus at all
So Iām really into genuinely reviewing media and work, because I like to analyze it.
Now, a lot of people hate fisch because it is RNG heavy. But⦠its good. Like, it is really good. It isnāt just RNG, you have to progress to get better stats, and I really like it for that. It appreciates the grind.
That being said, I also enjoy Combat Warriors weaponry, but the game itself? Much to be desired.
I had a friend that is obsessed with this game. That friend liked animals. Then another friend I had that liked the game played a certain beat game with a āfunnyā device on a substance for 6 hours. That community is insane.
REAL. God, do I hate battlegrounds games. You made something unique and pretty good, but youāve put it into a game with no soul and no heart.
A game that I despise? Incremental games. No soul in them.
Nothing beats Fisch though. It is relaxing, avoid being so RNG heavy by letting you use bait or fishing rods. It is very wiki heavy, but it works to its advantage.
The game is relaxing. Itās good PT for my hands, and I love listening to an album as I play. It knows how to keep itself light but keeping you invested.
Plus, I like the progression. The game feels rewarding when you do well.
Oh, another game I enjoy but have problems with: World Zero. So fun, love it, so grind-heavy now that it gets tiring.
