What are your thoughts on blackmarketing/offsite buying?

Having just found out about V3rmillion getting dropped, I realized a question I’m actually interested in knowing some answers to. Blackmarketing, and one’s thoughts about it, whether in favor of or against. Just for sake of reference, I mean selling stuff from ROBLOX, whether it’s robux, or items from Arcane Odyssey, or so on, for real money.

Personally, I’m not against blackmarketing, though I’d seldom support it. On one hand, it’s an avenue for the average person to make some money, and in my opinion, any method to do so, shy of outright scamming or theft, isn’t inherently bad. However, I can understand and agree with some prominent points against it. Namely, it ultimately can and will lead to exploiting children, intentionally or not. Kids already waste their parent’s money on things games sell normally, so seeing a cheaper or easier way to get things through money via blackmarketing gets massively tempting.

What are your thoughts about, for or against, blackmarketing?

*This isn’t a literal question about whether it’s allowed or not. I just realized the potential of someone saying “well it’s not allowed, so…” Yeah, I get that. I’m not asking if people do or would, but what they think about those people who do or would.

I’m glad it’s against ToS, it’s a pretty shady practice and can be unethical

Thanks for moving this to Off Topic.

What’s with the deleted replies?

I think the only reason it’s bad is because of the high possibility of scammers. Otherwise, I see no problem with it. The scammer rate is extremely high though. The only people you can trust on the illegal market are the ones with pure intentions, though the few people who do have pure intentions often become greedy or change their general attitude about life over time. The only places I know of where this happens all the time is Da Hood and Pocket7Games
