THANK YOU. Anime as an industry has devolved into the most degenerate slob I have ever born witness to. I can name only one singular anime that I have absolutely no problems with in this regard, and that’s Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon.
Also, the amount of minors that are sexualized in anime is genuinely disgusting. How hard is it for you to just… write a story with adults? Seriously, if I have the misfortune of learning about the mere existence of another anime where a damn schoolgirl is put on display, oogled by the camera and touched by the same kind of pervert character, I will actually fly to Japan to start a feminist movement—for the sole purpose of getting this crap out of anime.

But I will re-watch the Clone Wars again. It’s the single greatest thing to come out of Star Wars.

The fact that there’s a bunch of people out there who’d call you a loser or something for having a reasonable issue like that genuinely baffles me at times. Only “upside” to that behavior (if you can even call it that without wanting to puke) is that it immediately shows you who to avoid talking to.

I’m in a similar boat. Modern Rap all sounds the same to me.
Most of my general music taste is Japanese music; I blame my older sister trying to get me into anime as a kid, followed up with having to hear the same damned songs over and over again on the school bus, all of the same premise too.
