What benefits more even from mismatched stats?

Fast magic (such as lightning) with power/size or slow magic (such as metal) with dex/range?

Metal’s only weakness in light of the global downscale is its speed, and unless the balance team nerfs its raw damage FURTHER that will continue to be its only weakness.

  • Removed metal magic dealing damage as getting hit by a 2 ton steel ball in real life would injure people

Due to Dexterity / Range’s lower scaling per point, a 1:1 damage point damage increase for a fast magic would likely benefit the most.

global size/movement downscaling*

they arent touching speed and u can simply use beam,ray,explosion,contruct spam on metal bc spell start up/endlag isnt affected by speed affinity (base speed of the magic)

this means 0 dex on metal is as fast than light 0 dex (not counting projectile speed, that it is affected by speed affinity)
