F, you need to be within “range” of another ship (facing them, good distance awake), and then you can press F to ram. Wish we had the ram option 24/7 so that them swift light rams out there could go at the speed of sound non stop on the water but hey that’s just me 
yeah rams are really iffy sometimes the option to ram ships doesn’t come until like im an inch away lmao
