Sunkens are way more valuable than boss drops, scrolls or literally any non seasonal item so dont trade them for any non seasonal item unless youre desperate
In terms of seasonals sunken chests usually go for roughly 3 seasonals and boots for 2 (halloweds usually count as 2, easter seasonals dont count and headlesses are way more valuable)
Sss usually goes for like 5 seasonals

My view is that it wouldn’t be profitable to trade sunkens for items besides seasonals/sunkens while keeping it within a single trade. The only exception that immediately comes up are poison tooth daggers, but the update making sharks not only extremely easy to find, but a bug not axing the drop rates when killed with non anti-shark weapons probably worked to inflate the supply. There are other exceptions, like trading a sunken helmet for 8 strong King armors or something like that, but as a general rule of thumb, especially if you’re not familiar with values, I’d avoid trading sunkens for anything besides sunkens or seasonals.
If trading sunkens for seasonals, I think Nuclear generalizes it perfectly so I’m not really gonna add onto that.
For sunkens, currently the sunken item rankings go like this (may change once whatever bug is causing the helmet not to be equal to stats as the boots is fixed):
Sword > Chest > Boots > Helmet.
So if you’re trying to trade up from boots, either a chest, sword, or 2 helmets would likely be profitable (assuming you’re trading purely in sunkens in this scenario).
If you’re trying to trade the sword for armors, prior to the update I think a sunken sword was worth a little less than a chest + helmet, which looked to be part of a pattern of gradual decline in sword value starting from AO’s release up to before the update (Based on what I’ve seen, anyways). The sunken sword was buffed though and the armor set nerfed, so that ratio of armors to swords may improve. To play it safe until the economy stabilizes more to be confident, I’d avoid trading a sunken sword for less than a chest + helmet.
Finally, as a disclaimer I should point out that it is still pretty early into the update and a few bugs involving items mentioned likely have an effect on their value so none of this may still hold true once the bugs are patched and more time passes.
